Gato Preto ("Black cat" in Portuguese) is the tropical-jungle-electro-rap project of female rapper Gata Misteriosa ("Mysterious cat" in Portuguese) from Mozambique / Portugal and DJ/producer Lee Bass Ghana / Germany. Together they pimp up new genres, such as break beat, dub step, house and electro, with hard, chunky West African and Brazilian rhythms and beats while the energetic Gata is chanting Portuguese rhymes and raps. If you catch them, be prepared to dance, nobody can resist their urban grooves.
